No Students? No Problem. We'll Feed Essential Workers Instead.

Waltham, MA - With Brandeis University empty, Dining GM Andy Allen and his team have redirected efforts from feeding students to feeding doctors, nurses and staff at five Boston-area hospitals. The effort also means the kitchens are to retain staff and even hire more — including some students still on campus. “Our work here is groundbreaking at a time when we can do the most good,” GM Allen said.

When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Mobile

Spokane, WA - Zag Dining at Gonzaga University has volunteered with the local 2nd Harvest, serving the local community through their Mobile Pantry program. This great program travels around the Spokane area to different neighborhoods for food pickup. The team offered drive-thru and socially distanced walk up pservice to keep everyone safe.

Creating a Culture of Safety for Staff and Students Alike

Tarrytown, NY - With 120 international students remaining, the Facilities Team at EF International continues to operate campus services with composure despite being in a COVID hotbed near NYC. The team's Director, Christian Millar, has extensive crisis response experience through his past work and knows that the key to success is creating a culture of transparency, support and empowerment.
